Review & Reaction

This next installment of the Wicked Novellas picks up right where The Prince left off with Brighton picking up the pieces following Caden’s ascension from Prince to King and resuming her hunt for the ancient fae that killed her mother.

Though Caden/"The King" goes to great lengths to convince Brighton to stop her pursuit and keep her safe, it proves to be futile as she eventually lands in the dangerous clutches of one of those she sought out.

This was such a rollercoaster ride! A HOT one LOL. Seriously the sexual tension between Caden & Brighton soars to new heights despite their so called “lack of feelings for one another”

Their back & forth banter was both frustrating & hilarious.

My heart broke for Brighton 💔. Not only did she have to deal with the hurt from her friends constant lack of faith in her, but she goes through something incredibly traumatic while in the clutches of someone evil. I admired Brighton sooooo much; watching her take blow after blow and still holding on and standing up for herself even if she didn’t always feel confident and able is a trait I wish I had.

Caden stole my heart in this one ♥ and Tink was hilarious as usual 😂. Seriously, Tink is the realest of all the realest characters I’ve ever met. I LOVE how unapologetically honest he is always.

This installment was more fast-paced, emotional and hotter than the previous one. AND THAT CLIFFHANGER AT THE END?

I felt soooo bad for everyone that had to wait a year for the next book to come out! I would not have been able to handle the wait that long and not go insane.
