Hi y'all I’m back with #ThrowbackThursdays ! Every Thursday, I feature a book/series that I read a little while ago that I LOVE and think you all will too. This week’s feature is the Angel trilogy by the amazing L.A. Weatherly.

I started reading the first book in this trilogy, Angel Burn exactly 9 YEARS AGO TODAY and finished the final book, Angel Fever on 07/24/2014 while on a family vacation in the Dominican Republic. I remember being so heartbroken that it was over but also so incredibly moved by the story that I woke up early the next morning, sat in my hotel room desk and wrote the author a letter thanking her for sharing her talent with me and the rest of the world. For creating Alex- a human and one of the most badass & vulnerable characters I have ever had the pleasure of getting to know (He was also the first male protagonist to officially knock Edward from the Twilight series right off his pedestal 😂) For Willow & Alex’s journey together and the enemies-turned-friends that they gained and lost along the way. For letting us into the minds of Seb & the Angels that allowed me to understand that all characters are incredibly complex regardless of what side of good or evil they land on and for illustrating that even in betrayal and unimaginable loss there is forgiveness and Hope.I never sent her that letter. But I’ll forever hold these books close 🧡.

The Angel Trilogy is a fast-paced and action packed romance with an absolutely brilliant twist on angels. Add it to your MUST READ list, it will not disappoint!

Blurb for Angel Burn :

THEY ARE OUT FOR YOUR SOUL AND THEY DON’T HAVE HEAVEN IN MIND…

Willow isn’t like other girls: she has a gift. She can look into the future and know people’s dreams and hopes, their sorrows and regrets. She has no idea where this power comes from. But the assassin, Alex, does. Gorgeous, mysterious Alex knows that Willow’s powers link to dark and dangerous forces and that he’s one of the few humans left who can fight them. When Alex falls in love with his sworn enemy, he discovers that nothing is as it seems, least of all good and evil.
