2016 was such a great reading year for me. I had just gotten a Kindle Fire and discovered that Kindle Unlimited existed. I started The Shadow Prince on August 12, 2016 and finished it in a few hours. It’s the prequel novella to the INCREDIBLE Mortal Instruments series. I wasn’t even halfway done with Shadow Prince when I downloaded the rest. It was ADDICTING. I absolutely LOVE the magical world of Avalon that O’Neale created. It was genius 💡 and so fresh. The character development was effortless & The plot twists?!: 💀 I remember wishing I lived in Avalon as a heir to a throne so that I could have the power to control some of the elements too 🤣. This series is full of action-packed adventure, a forbidden romance to die for ( Rowan 😭 and Kalin will have my heart forever-their relationship is so beautiful 💕) and one of the best bromances I’ve EVER read. No, seriously Rowan & Marcus’s bromance pulled at my heart strings especially in Fragile Reign.
